After lunch, weather worsened, leading to snow showers as the group reached Dingboche at 14,200ft. Acclimatization would occur over two nights. It was the last of the hot water showers.

Day 1: Lukla to Phakding – Dal Bhat, Cobblestone paths, Village Life
Upon landing in Lukla on April 25, 2025, our team was welcomed by guides and porters. After a nutritious Dal Bhat lunch, we began our Day 1 hike through cobblestone lanes, shops, and local scenery, encountering stray dogs and village boys playing volleyball, finally reaching Phakding and settling into Namaste lodge.
